What does a worker see when they scan a tag?
The approved procedure for that asset in the browser: equipment ID and revision, isolation steps with device and verification text, photos, and a print-or-save action. An unlinked or invalid tag shows a clear status message.
What happens when a tag is damaged or lost?
Order a replacement, link it to the same procedure, and apply it. The record and its approval history are untouched.
Can a tag move to different equipment?
Yes. Unlink it from the current procedure first, then link it to the new one. A tag cannot be linked to two procedures at once.
Do we need special printers for the tags?
No. Tags are ordered through the company workspace with a standard checkout. Exported PDFs carry the same QR code for laminated or posted copies.
How many tags should we order?
One per procedure you intend to tag, plus spares for damage and equipment changes. Facilities usually order by area so each department owns its inventory.
Do the tags work without internet?
Scanning needs a connection to load the live record. In dead zones, use the posted PDF, which carries the same code and the same steps.
