Do workers need a special scanner or app?
No. Any modern phone or tablet camera opens the QR link in a browser. There is nothing to install and no training required to scan.
What if the plant has no Wi-Fi at the asset?
Post the generated PDF — which includes the QR code — at or near the asset for offline reference. The QR link serves the live procedure wherever there is connectivity.
Can the QR code appear on the printed procedure?
Yes. Every generated PDF embeds its linked QR code, so the paper copy and the tag resolve to the same procedure.
How do we label dozens or hundreds of assets?
Generate codes per procedure in Tegis, then print in-house or order durable tags. Most teams tag a pilot line first, then roll out by area.
What happens when a procedure changes?
The same QR code serves the updated version immediately. Re-export the PDF when you need fresh printouts — the code itself does not change.
