A high-level orientation to how TegisSafety is organized and how users move from company setup to live procedures.
How the platform is structured
TegisSafety is organized in layers: Company → Site → Procedure → Step. A company contains one or more sites, each site contains procedures, and each procedure contains the lockout steps for one machine or process. This structure keeps safety information grouped by the physical place where work happens.

What users usually do first
A typical rollout starts with creating the company, adding sites, inviting editors, then drafting procedures for the most critical equipment. Once a procedure is complete, you can link a QR code and generate a PDF for printing or field use.
Tips
- Build the company and site structure before you start large-scale procedure entry.
- Start with the equipment that is serviced most often or carries the highest risk.
- Use consistent naming from the beginning so search results stay clean later.
User roles in plain language
Owners manage the company, settings, QR purchases, and users. Editors create and maintain procedures. Viewers open and review procedures but cannot change them. This keeps review and approval workflows safer and easier to control.
