Companies, Sites, and Settings
How to configure your organization, add sites, manage support details, and control who can edit data.
Creating a company
The company record is the top-level workspace for your organization. During setup, enter the company name, optionally set a support email, and upload a logo. The logo can be reused in generated documents so your PDFs match the rest of your safety program.
Examples
- Company name: Tegis Food Systems
- Support email: safety@tegisfoods.com
Managing company settings
The Company Settings area is where administrators manage company branding, invite users, review current users, and purchase QR stickers. This is also where support contact information lives so employees know who to reach out to internally.
Tips
- Keep the support email current if your internal owner changes.
- Use a clear company logo so printed procedure packets are easy to identify during audits.
Adding sites
Sites represent physical locations such as plants, production lines, buildings, or campuses. When creating sites, use descriptive names and keep them aligned with how your team talks about the facility in everyday work. This helps both search and onboarding.
Examples
- North Plant - Utilities
- Warehouse 3 - Dock Area
- Campus B - Mixing Room
Permissions and who can edit
Site and company management options only appear for appropriate users. Owners have the broadest control. Editors can still build procedures but may not see every organization-level control. Viewers can navigate and read procedures without making operational changes.
Site publishing workflow
The site settings flow lets teams review procedure lists and distinguish between items that are already purchased or published and those that are not. This is helpful when you are preparing a batch of procedures for rollout, review, or client delivery.
