When Your Company Has No Sites
What to do if you log in and see no sites under your company, and how to get set up correctly.
What it means if you see no sites
Sites are the physical locations under a company where procedures live. If your dashboard shows zero sites, it usually means one of two things: either the company administrator has not created any sites yet, or you have not been assigned to the correct company. This is a normal state for brand-new organizations that are still being set up.
What to do as a team member
Contact your company safety manager or the person who invited you to the platform. Ask them to create at least one site so you can begin building or viewing procedures. If you are unsure who your administrator is, check the support email shown in the Company Settings area. This is typically the person or team responsible for platform setup.
Tips
- The support email is set during company creation and can be updated anytime by an Owner.
- If multiple people joined at the same time, coordinate with your team so sites are named consistently from day one.
What to do if you ARE the administrator
As an Owner, you can create your first site directly from the Dashboard. Select your company, then click the + button or Create Site option. Give the site a descriptive name that matches how your team refers to the location (for example, "Main Plant - Assembly" or "Warehouse B"). Once the site exists, you and your team can immediately start building procedures under it.
Examples
- Site name: North Plant - Utilities
- Site name: Line 3 - Packaging
- Site name: Building 7 - Maintenance Bay
Still stuck?
If you have created a site but still see nothing, verify that you are viewing the correct company. The company selector at the top of the Dashboard lets you switch between organizations if you belong to more than one. If the issue persists, use the Contact Us page to reach the TegisSafety support team.
