Troubleshooting
Common issues users encounter and the quickest way to diagnose them inside the current product workflow.
QR code scans but shows an error
This usually means the QR code is invalid, has not been linked to a procedure yet, or the PDF reference is missing. Check the procedure row first and confirm the QR status. If the procedure was edited recently, wait for PDF regeneration to finish, then test the scan again.
User cannot edit
If the user can open records but cannot see management or edit controls, verify their role. Many organization and procedure controls are intentionally hidden from viewers. Editors can change procedures, while owners can also manage company settings and user administration.
A procedure is hard to find
Verify the user is in the correct company and site first. Then check whether the equipment was named inconsistently or if the custom ID was never entered. A clean naming pattern reduces this problem substantially over time.
Camera issues while linking QR or scanning IDs
If the scanner modal cannot read the code, confirm browser camera permissions and try the manual entry option. The QR linker supports manual code entry for the sticker UUID when scanning is not possible.
